Privacy Policy
Effective: 2026-04-28 Last updated: 2026-04-28
This policy explains what Stratum IT Services, LLC (“Stratum,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use stratumitservices.com, what we do with it, and how to reach us if you have questions or want your information removed.
We keep this policy short on purpose. Our data surface is small.
1. Who we are
Stratum IT Services, LLC is a single-member Indiana LLC providing IT advisory and modernization services to small and mid-sized businesses and nonprofits. Our principal office is in Bedford, Indiana.
For privacy questions: corey@stratumitservices.com.
2. What we collect
Information you give us directly
- Discovery-call bookings. When you book a free discovery call through our Microsoft Bookings page, you provide your name, email address, and optionally a phone number and notes about your situation. Bookings are processed by Microsoft and land in our Microsoft 365 mailbox.
- Email correspondence. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you send (your address, the message, any attachments). Email is processed by Microsoft 365.
Information collected automatically
- Site analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and privacy-respecting. It records aggregate page-view counts, referrers, and approximate country — but does not set tracking cookies, build cross-site profiles, or identify individual visitors. There are no third-party advertising trackers on this site.
- Server logs. Standard web-server request logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamp, URL requested) are kept by our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure, for operational and security purposes.
We do not run a newsletter, a customer portal, or any third-party advertising or social-media trackers. We do not use cookies for analytics or marketing.
3. How we use it
- To respond to discovery-call bookings and email inquiries
- To deliver services to clients we engage with through a separate signed agreement
- To understand which content on this site is useful, in aggregate
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing.
4. Sub-processors
We use the following service providers to operate the business; your information may transit or be stored by them:
- Microsoft Corporation — Microsoft 365 (email, calendar, Bookings, file storage). Microsoft’s privacy practices: privacy.microsoft.com.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — DNS, content delivery, and Web Analytics for stratumitservices.com. Cloudflare’s privacy practices: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Microsoft Azure — hosting (Azure Static Web Apps).
We choose providers that are appropriate for handling business contact information and operate under their own published privacy commitments.
5. How long we keep it
- Discovery-call bookings and email correspondence: as long as needed to respond, for the duration of any resulting engagement, and afterward as required for tax, accounting, and legal recordkeeping (typically up to seven years).
- Site analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics retains aggregate data per its standard retention schedule.
- Server logs: retained by Azure per its standard schedule.
6. Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can:
- Ask what information we have about you. Email corey@stratumitservices.com and we will respond.
- Ask us to delete it. We will delete what we hold, except where we are required to keep records for tax, accounting, or legal reasons.
- Ask us to correct it. Email us with the correction.
If you are a resident of California, the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with specific data-subject rights, you have those rights under applicable law. Contact us and we will honor them.
7. Children
This site is intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
8. Security
We use Microsoft 365 and Cloudflare’s standard security controls — TLS in transit, multi-factor authentication on administrator accounts, and tenant-level access controls. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.
9. Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and, if appropriate, contact people with active engagements directly.
